Glycerin is a highly versatile polyol and a fundamental component of all triglycerides.

Matrilox® glycerin is a viscous liquid derived entirely from vegetable sources, with a high level of purity (>93%).

Beyond its use as an emollient, humectant, and smoothing agent in cosmetic formulations, glycerin is widely applied in the pharmaceutical sector, in the production of antifreeze liquids, and as a raw material for ester synthesis. It is also approved under Reg. (EU) 68/2013 as a raw material for animal feed.
