The project is aimed at fostering and accelerating the development of the circular bioeconomy in Italy by creating adequate "devices" to give strength to the already existing collaborations and actions, outlined in the Italian Bioeconomy Strategy. More specifically the project deals with the creation of a stakeholder network, involving EIT Climate-KIC and the National Bioeconomy Working group, including Ministers and Regions, to foster and formalize the existing collaborations by a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at supporting the Italian circular bioeconomy from a legislative, financial and technical perspective. In order to define the proper guidelines to be promoted, the project should work for the definition and mapping of bottlenecks - by programming workshops, sectoral studies, interviews - and for the creation of a roadmap of activities to concretely respond to the main problems, creating or systematizing existing normative and financial instruments.
