Novamont’s bioeconomy model as a case study at the Zero Emission Conference 2016 in Oslo

The eleventh annual Zero Emission Conference was held on October 23-24, in Oslo. The event has become one of the most important climate solutions conferences in Northern Europe, bringing together the main representatives from the international, national and regional institutions,  industry, civil society, non-governmental organizations, scientific community.

The initiative represented an important opportunity to discuss the environmental solutions and projects in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. On 24th November Stefano Facco, NOVAMONT’s New Business Development Director, gave a speech in the session "Renewing the refinery business – from fossil oil to biobased climate solutions", which aims was to show the development and commercialization of biobased and renewable refinery products.

Mr. Facco presented NOVAMONT’s innovative approach in the development of integrated biorefineries for high-added value biobased products, founded on the integration with the world of agriculture and respecting the specificities of local areas.
