NOVAMONT at Bio World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology 2018

The Bio World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, the most important event of the year entirely dedicated to industrial biotechnologies, will be held from 16 to 19 July in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania). NOVAMONT will be in the forefront during the Conference, participating in panel discussions and workshops.
 
On July 17th Stefano Facco, NOVAMONT's New Business Development Manager will speak in the session "Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU): A Model of Collaborative Research Building and Structuring the European Biobased Industry Sector" where he will describe the BBI JU as an effective tool to stimulate innovation and competition in the bioeconomy sector. Philippe Mengal (BBI JU), Christophe Luguel (IAR-Pole) and Sami-Pekka Rantanen (MetGen) will also speak during the same session.
 
Moreover on 19 July, Stefano Facco will take part in the "Renewable Chemicals and Biobased Products" session, where he will present Mater-Biotech, the group's subsidiary and the world's first plant for the industrial production of bio-bdo from sugars.
 
The event organized by BIO - Biotechnology Innovation Organization - divided into 42 sessions and 7 educational courses, will feature more than 900 participants from industry leaders, government officials, researchers, academics, investors and managers from over 500 companies and 32 countries.
