Exploring Italy’s Bioeconomy together: the Irish delegation’s visit in Novara
From March 20 to 23, the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation's "Exploring Italy's Bioeconomy together" visit, was organised by the Italian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster SPRING.
The initiative is part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two entities to promote the bio-economy and is one of the several study visits organised by the RuralBioUp project partners to enable the exchange of experiences and best practices.
On 21 March, the Novamont Headquarters and Research Center of Novara hosted the Irish delegates from different academia, local authorities, research centres for biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and industrial players active in the field of wastewater recovery. The delegation had the opportunity to find out more about Novamont’s bio-economy model, deepen its innovation projects and visit the research and development laboratories.
