Novamont among the speakers of the 12th edition of European Bioplastics Conference

"Bioplastics - making the difference": this is the title of the 12th edition of European Bioplastics Conference, the leading international event dedicated to bioplastics, biomaterials and their applications, to be held in Berlin on November 28-29.

The event will bring together the leading companies in the bioplastic sector and will have a strong focus on how biopolymer’s research and development is "making the difference" in promoting new sustainable solutions by combining product quality and performance while using resources efficiently.  

On November 28, Francesco Degli Innocenti, Head of NOVAMONT’s Ecology of Products and Environmental Communication, will intervene in the panel "End-of-life beyond industrial composting" giving a presentation on the development of standardization in the specific field of marine biodegradability. The presentation will also illustrate the added value of biodegradable bioplastics for those applications with high risk of dispersion in the sea such as fishing equipment.

NOVAMONT will attend the event also through an exhibition space presenting its bioeconomy model and innovative life-style solutions that can be achieved with MATER-BI bioplastics.
