B Corp "Best for the World" 2022: Novamont recognized for the second consecutive year
For the second consecutive year Novamont has received the prestigious "B Corp "Best for The WorldTM" recognition, the program that acknowledges B Corps globally that have achieved the highest scores in one or more of the impact areas on which B Corporation certification is based: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
The group stood out in the Environment area, ranking into the top 5 percent of the highest scores achieved by B Corporations worldwide. The nomination thus recognizes our positive impact on the environment, having achieved the highest sustainability standards through our circular bioeconomy model. Novamont is the only company in the "Chemicals & chemical products" category and first in terms of score in Italy and Europe. Second globally.
The Best for the World recognition was given by B Lab, the global, nonprofit network that certifies B Corporations, which are companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

To be recognized as a B Corp a company must get a score of at least 80 points on the assessment. Novamont obtained the B Corporation certification in 2020, with a score of 104. With the inclusion of data from 2020, the group obtained a new score of 120, which further increased in 2021 to 132 due to the implementation of a series of improvement actions.
