Novamont bioeconomy model based on integrated biorefineries at the “Renewable Materials Conference”
From 10 to 12 May, the Renewable Materials Conference, organized by nova-Institut GmbH, German Research Institute focused on transition of the chemical and material industry to renewable carbon, was held online and in presence in Cologne.
On May 10, among the speakers also Stefano Facco, Novamont’s New Business Development Director, who illustrated Novamont bioeconomy model based on integrated biorefineries dedicated to the production of bioplastics and bioproducts of renewable origins, mentioning in particular how this model contributed to the implementation of a successful circular bioeconomy platform in Italy.
Before the event Facco was interviewed by Michael Carus, CEO of the nova-Institute, to analyze the current scenario and the development of renewable carbon economy, highlighting also measures and policy instruments to accelerate the ecological transformation.
