Novamont among the speakers of IFIB, the Industrial biotechnology and bioeconomy

On September 30 and October 1, IFIB, the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy", organized by the Italian Cluster SPRING and Assobiotech-Federichimica, took place in Trento.

During the eleventh edition of the Forum, one of the most important event for the sector in Europe, several B2B meetings and presentations of industrial projects in the field of circular bioeconomy were held.

Among the speakers also Fabio Sagnelli, Project Manager Novamont, who illustrated how circular bioeconomy can be a key tool for soil regeneration. He highlighted the role of biotechnology in the valorization of crops and scraps, presenting some of the innovative funded projects in which Novamont is involved, recalling in particular First2Run, the first flagship project funded by the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking.
