Master “Bioeconomy in the circular economy” BIOCIRCE: the call for the fifth edition is now open
On June 12, students of the fourth edition of the Master in “Bioeconomy in the circular economy” BIOCIRCE held their dissertations at the Aula Magna Leopoldo Massimilla of the University Federico II in Naples.
Novamont has been partner of the Master since its establishment, thus promoting an initiative which connects the world of industry and of innovation with cultural growth and raising awareness of the new generations.
The second-level Master offers professional the opportunity to go in depth in all the aspects related to production, marketing of bio-based products and the latest technological innovations through an interdisciplinary program jointly promoted by four universities (University of Bologna, University of Milano-Bicocca, University of Naples Federico II and University of Turin), non-academic partners (Novamont SpA, Intesa Sanpaolo, GFBiochemicals SpA and PTP Science Park in Lodi) and 2 Italian Technological Cluster (Cluster SPRING and Cluster CLAN agrifood).

The post-graduate programme, since 2017, the year of its establishment, has prepared several professional figures specialized in the field of bioeconomy and a survey addressed to the graduates in the first three editions revealed that employment rate after one month from the end of the Master is 91%, with 80% of partecipants permanent employed.
Call is now open for the fifth edition, starting from January 2022. For the new academic year, as usual, classes will be held in English at the four universities involved and the programme will include a period of internship or project work in collaboration with one of the non-academic partner organizations.
