Catia Bastioli among the guests of the webinar “ECONOMÍA CIRCULAR”, organized by Symbola and Italian Embassy in Argentina

On December 16, Symbola Foundation and the Italian Embassy in Argentina organized a webinar on the topic of circular economy and innovation, comparing stories of excellence from the two countries.

Among the guests also Catia Bastioli, CEO Novamont, who presented the Group's activities in the field of bioeconomy as a pillar of the green economy and post-pandemic recovery.
In her speech Bastioli recalled how the circular bioeconomy, with soil health at its core, can be an essential tool of political strategies to tackle climate change. Moreover, she illustrated the activities and the commitment of the Group, which in the last thirty years has contributed to the creation of a virtuous value chain in Italy, mentioning the different partners the company has collaborated with.

The event was also attended by Giuseppe Manzi, Ambassador of Italy in Argentina and Ermete Realacci, President of Symbola Foundation.
