International Sustainable Plastics Conference

On October 30th, the 3rd International Sustainable Plastics Conference will be held, organized by Incheon National University’s Eco-Friendly Plastic Center, the Korea Plastic Industry Cooperative, the Korea Testing & Research Institute for Chemical Industry, and the Korea Petrochemical Industry Association.

Global speakers from Europe, the USA, China, Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand will discuss international trends and policies to promote biodegradable plastics. The event will cover topics such as the status of certifications for biodegradable plastics, raw materials, products, technological advancements, and case studies on commercialization, both domestically and internationally.

Franz Kraus, Head of International Public Affairs, will deliver a presentation on "Bioplastics in a Circular Economy - a European Perspective."
